Most are designed to comfortably fit a single, full-sized adult. But you’ll notice a lot of these models are called a 1 to 2-person traditional sauna. They can technically fit multiple people. It’s just a matter of how much room you want inside to stretch out!
How much space does a one-person traditional sauna take up?
Our smallest model is the Auroom Cala Glass Mini with a tiny footprint of 37” x 37” - that obviously comes at the cost of interior space, so set your expectations. The biggest one-person traditional model we carry is the Auroom Aura at 69” x 68”. Plan on a 4’ x 5’ area on average (with ventilation clearance).
Can I install a traditional 1-person sauna indoors or outdoors?
Yep! Just make sure you choose the right model for where you plan on installing your sauna. A traditional outdoor sauna must be made from weatherproof materials and installed on a level base.
